San Pellegrino Lake - San Pellegrino Pass (Val di Fassa)
Lake San Pellegrino is a small body of water located at Passo San Pellegrino, at an altitude of 1900 metres. It is a small lake that arises from a series of small streams that descend from the high mountains that surround it, here a body of water is created which gives it the name of lake but which certainly cannot be compared in size to other lakes mountain areas such as Lake Molveno or Lake Resia.
However, it has a great charm because its waters reflect the magnificent Dolomites of Val di Fassa, the peaks of Passo San Pellegrino are reflected in its crystalline waters. All around the lake there is an easy path to follow that allows you to appreciate the different landscapes, its shape in fact gives a different landscape based on the position making it even more interesting. It is set in a forest made up mainly of larches and its shore is full of flowers and spontaneous plants.
I recommend it especially for those who want to be in peace, away from the noise and surrounded by nature, the benches and tables allow everyone to stop, sunbathe or read a good book lulled by the coolness and beauty of the place.
