Lake Molveno

Lake Molveno is a beautiful Dolomite lake , formed around 4000 years ago by a landslide that blocked the valley, nestled in a marvelous natural setting: it is surrounded by beech and fir forests, with the Brenta Group massifs dominating it from the west and Mount Gazza and Paganella from the southeast.

In summer, the Molveno lake is very popular with tourists and residents, thanks to the beautiful beach of the lido di Molveno and the sports area equipped with swimming pools, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, and bowls area.
Children have access to a playground where to spend hours of fun while adults can sail the waters of the lake by renting motor boats or rowing boats.

How to get to Lake Molveno

Reaching Lake Molveno is very easy. It's located directly on State Road 421, which connects Riva del Garda to Mezzolombardo, passing through Andalo. Arriving from the Brennero motorway, take the Trento exit: from there, the lake is about 40 km away.
