Lake Molveno

Molveno lake is a beautiful one dolomitic lake, formed about 4000 years ago due to a landslide that blocked the valley, set in a wonderful natural setting: it is in fact surrounded by beech and fir woods, with the massifs of the Brenta Group dominating it from the west and of Mount Gazza and Paganella from the southeast.

In summer, the Molveno lake is very popular with tourists and residents, thanks to the beautiful beach of the lido di Molveno and the sports area equipped with swimming pools, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, and bowls area.
