Kitzbühel in the summer

The “two-wheel enthusiasts”, both the more ambitious and the more relaxed ones, will be able to try their hand at paths that wind along rivers, forests, pastures and mountains. The 14 most beautiful and well-known road bike trails around Kitzbühel were recorded last year with GPS. The more adventurous bikers can have fun in the bike park equipped, while those who love tranquility can rent one e-bike (electric bike), to reach the most panoramic points of the valley effortlessly and in an ecological way. The bike also finds space in the long cycle paths that wind up into the woods with nature trails dedicated exclusively to two wheels.

Families here find a real paradise where they can spend their holidays summer vacation with children. The not too high altitude means that the territory is not inaccessible and therefore ideal for quiet walks and excursions in the mountains. Observing marmots, exploring nature, splashing around in the water, caressing animals, places full of adventures in the mountains such as the Alpinolino, the Filzalmsee lake, the Kneipp water in the Spertental valley and many other proposals in the Kitzbühel Alps make exciting excursions also for children. You can visit the mountain pastures at high altitude (perhaps going up with the cable car) and then make a stop in the clear mountain streams which here are fed by splendid springs. In the village there are also several creative workshops where children can learn about nature while having fun and staying in company under the guidance of trained staff. This perhaps coincides with some of the many events that enliven the streets of Kitzbühel every summer.

Kitzbühel is an equally ideal destination for golfers: i four golf courses are located directly in the city or can be reached in a maximum of five minutes by car. Others 30 golf courses are located within 100 kilometers. This allows you to experience a different golf course every day and learn how to play.
