BREUIL-CERVINIA (municipality of Valtournenche - 2.012 meters above sea level) is located at the northern limit of Valtournenche, on the slopes of Mount Cervino, in the north-east of Valle d'Aosta.

Tourism in Breuil-Cervinia began to develop at the end of the 800th century, thanks to the mountaineers who reached the locality to try to conquer the summit of Mount Cervino (4478m asl).

Today, thanks to the notable increase in accommodation, skiing and sports facilities, it is an internationally renowned holiday center. The ski lifts are connected with those of Zermatt, on the Swiss side of the Matterhorn, and with those of Valtournenche, thus forming a single ski area with over 350 km of slopes. Here the ski season extends throughout the year thanks to the facilities that allow you to quickly reach the Plateau Rosa and Ventina glaciers and have fun practicing summer skiing.
